Blue-Collar Dreams presents a fictitious narrative based on the dreams of a man who digs holes for a living, an urban excavator who dreams mainly in the color blue. His daily visions and nocturnal apparitions are the manifestation of an interior realm where personal memories collide with cultural data. The original drawings are transferred to blueprints and most are ideas for yet-to-be-realized sculptures or installations.
